TERMS OF SALE

ARTWORK
We sell physical art prints. The product listing states the artwork, size, orientation, price and any edition limit. Frames and decorative interiors shown in mock-ups are not included unless expressly stated. Screen colours may differ from the physical print without affecting your statutory rights. Prints are checked and signed and include a certificate of authenticity. Limited editions are individually numbered as described in the listing.
ORDERING AND PAYMENT
Select the artwork and available options, add it to your cart and review your details and the total before submitting the order using the payment button. You can correct your details before submission. A binding purchase is concluded when your order is successfully submitted and payment is accepted. We send an order confirmation by email. The shop and ordering process are in English. Save your order confirmation and these terms for your records. Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
PRICES AND DELIVERY
Prices are in euros. The displayed product price is the final product price, including any applicable taxes. Delivery charges are shown separately before payment. Delivery within Germany is €9 per order. Delivery to mainland Spain is available only when a delivery method and price are offered at checkout or expressly agreed before ordering. Contact us before purchasing if checkout does not offer your destination. We do not add undisclosed charges after purchase.
PREPARATION AND DELIVERY TIMES
Each print is produced to order. It is delivered to our studio for quality inspection, signing, certification and careful packaging before dispatch to you. Estimated delivery from payment is 10–15 business days within Germany and 12–20 business days to mainland Spain for orders accepted for that destination. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Tracking information is sent after dispatch. If a delay arises, we contact you. These estimates do not remove your statutory rights concerning late delivery.
For consumer orders, we bear the risk of loss or damage during delivery until you or your nominated recipient receives the goods, subject to statutory exceptions for a carrier independently commissioned by you.
WITHDRAWAL AND DEFECTS
The Withdrawal & Returns policy forms part of these terms. Standard catalogue prints have the consumer right of withdrawal. Producing a print after ordering, signing or numbering it does not by itself exclude that right. Statutory rights relating to defects remain unchanged.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The purchase is for the physical print. Copyright and reproduction rights remain with their rights holder. No licence for commercial reproduction, redistribution of image files or other exploitation is granted with the purchase.
APPLICABLE LAW
German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence where those protections apply. No exclusive place of jurisdiction is imposed on consumers.

WITHDRAWAL & RETURNS
Consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The period starts on the day you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receive the goods. If items from one order arrive separately, it starts when the last item is received.
To withdraw, send a clear statement to Maria del Camino Ruiz Estrada, Colorete – Visual Art Studio Germany, hello@coloreteart.com, telephone +34 628 107 902. An email or letter is sufficient. You may use the form below, but this is optional. Sending your statement before the deadline is sufficient.
After withdrawal, contact hello@coloreteart.com for return instructions and send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us. Sending them before this deadline is sufficient. You bear the direct return postage costs. Please package the print securely. Original packaging is recommended, but is not a condition of your statutory rights.
We refund payments received, including the least expensive standard outward delivery offered for your order, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal statement. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery option are not refunded. We use the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, without a refund fee. We may withhold the refund until the goods are returned or you provide proof of return, whichever happens first.
You are responsible only for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Catalogue prints remain eligible for withdrawal even when printed after ordering, signed or numbered. The statutory exception for genuinely personalised goods may apply to bespoke commissions made to your individual specifications. We will explain any applicable exception before you place such an order.
FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS
Your statutory rights for defective goods remain unaffected. If your print is damaged, incorrect or defective, contact hello@coloreteart.com with your order details. Photographs can help us resolve the issue, but are not a condition of your rights. There is no additional short reporting deadline that removes those rights. Necessary return costs for a valid defect claim are borne by us.

WEBSITE VISITS
This website is hosted by Squarespace. Technical data such as your IP address, browser, device, pages requested and access times are processed to deliver the website, keep it secure and prevent misuse. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Non-essential analytics cookies are restricted until you consent. The separate visitor activity log is disabled.
ORDERS AND ENQUIRIES
When you place an order, we process your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, order contents, payment status and any details needed to fulfil it. When you contact us, we process your contact details and message. Processing to fulfil an order or answer a pre-contract enquiry is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other correspondence is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f). Information required for tax and accounting records is processed under Article 6(1)(c).
RECIPIENTS AND PAYMENTS
Squarespace provides hosting, checkout and order-management services. Payments are processed through Squarespace Payments and its payment-service partners, including Stripe, where applicable to your chosen payment method. Payment providers process transaction and fraud-prevention information. We do not receive your full payment-card details. We share the delivery information required by the carrier used for your order, such as DHL. We use Google Workspace to handle business email. Professional advisers and public authorities may receive records where necessary for accounting or legal obligations.
INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Some providers process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You may contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
RETENTION
We keep order, invoice and payment records for the applicable statutory retention periods. Other enquiry data is deleted when the enquiry is resolved and the information is no longer needed, unless legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims require retention. Technical data is kept only as long as needed for the relevant operational and security purpose. Where a service provider sets a technical retention period, details can be requested from us.
COOKIES
Essential cookies and similar storage support the cart, checkout, security and saved consent choices. Where strictly necessary, device storage/access is based on section 25(2) TDDDG. Non-essential analytics storage requires consent under section 25(1) TDDDG and related personal-data processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies or manage categories in the banner. You can withdraw consent or change your choice at any time through Cookie preferences. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing. Browser controls also allow you to delete cookies, although blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working. The Instagram icon links to an external service. If you follow that link, Instagram processes data under its own privacy policy. A link is not the same as an embedded Instagram feed.

Subject to the applicable conditions, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. Providing order and delivery information is necessary to complete a purchase. Without it we cannot fulfil the order. No decision made by Colorete solely through automated processing has legal or similarly significant effects on you. Payment providers may apply their own automated fraud controls as described in their privacy information.
